Deep Frost

November 24, 2014 admin General Gossip

Went to the allotment today. Not until early afternoon, to give the day a chance of warming up. A really thick frost this morning, and a totally unhappy frozen car.

Dug up a load of carrots and sorted out some onions to bring home. Planted more onions and more garlic. A bit late I know, but it was the first chance we have had. Did a load of weeding. Very pleased with the soil on out patch. Monty Don quality, if you know what I mean.

Have you thought of growing ginger? I’d happily take some 😉

Hi Ren, no I have not. But I will do now. Going to do some research into how to grow it. We have lots and lots of tomato plants here and aubergines, if you would like some.
